Sedation Dentistry
Overview:
Sedation is a method that Dentist use to provide comfort for the patients. Some patients often experience anxiety prior to, and during, dental visits. We understand this and we trained to effectively address it.
Procedure:
In our office, we offer Nitrous Oxide Sedition Dentistry. This type of sedative is fast acting, administered via a mask over the mouth and nose. The gas provides an ecstatic feeling, which aids the patient to relax and feel more comfortable during the procedure. The effect of Nitrous Oxide promptly dissipates upon removal of the mask. The patient can drive home after the procedure is complete

Dr. Hussain is one of the best dentists I've ever had. She's extremely positive and friendly, and explains any issues and causes before and after a service. It's easy asking her questions and voicing concerns. She has a wonderful staff and admin is very good about appointment reminders and confirmations. It's actually quite a pleasant experience visiting Smiles at Telfair—they beat all the dentist office scares and stereotypes :)
