Dentures
Dentures are a substitute for missing teeth, and can be removed and placed back in the mouth at any time.
The are two main types of Dentures:
Full, or complete, dentures are used as a substitution for teeth that are all absent or have been taken out of the mouth. Decaying of teeth or gum disease are the primary contributors to the loss or removal of teeth. Within Full Dentures, two types methods of applying full Dentures exist. Standard dentures are added to the mouth once all of the teeth have been removed and gum healing has taken place. Instant dentures are put in the mouth as soon as the teeth have been removed. These dentures placed in the mouth immediately after the loss of teeth require realignment after healing has taken place, due to the shifting of the gums.
Partial Dentures are used to fit around the healthy teeth, and can either be taken out at the patient’s leisure, or can be made permanent. These dentures are designed for removal and can be taken out for cleaning, sleeping, or when the patient eats. Dentures that are permanent are bonded to the gum via cement, with the healthy teeth used as support. This support is referred to as a bridge, and are meant to bridge the gap between one or multiple missing teeth.

Dr. Hussain is one of the best dentists I've ever had. She's extremely positive and friendly, and explains any issues and causes before and after a service. It's easy asking her questions and voicing concerns. She has a wonderful staff and admin is very good about appointment reminders and confirmations. This team is a good group of people/ professionals. The staff is always very informative and we always end up having a good laugh. This is the type of relationship I expect from a neighborhood Dentist. I had brought my Mother who doesn't speak English.
