Tooth extraction
Overview:
Dental extractions occur as a last resort for dental issues, used only upon the exhaustion of other options.
Some of the reasons why extractions occur are because of tooth decay, injured teeth, and infection. In addition, the procedure is also used to provide room for growing teeth and to address any gum erosion or orthodontic concerns.
Of course, each extraction is unique to the patient, and based on the severity of the problem.
Procedure:
Extractions are separated into two categories, Simple and Surgical.
A simple way of putting it that simple extractions are more like when teeth are loose (like during childhood) and the doctor can help wiggle it out. The Surgical extractions are more challenging, and a good example is when the wisdom teeth are taken out.

Dr. Hussain is one of the best dentists I've ever had. She's extremely positive and friendly, and explains any issues and causes before and after a service. It's easy asking her questions and voicing concerns. She has a wonderful staff and admin is very good about appointment reminders and confirmations.
